G’Day MATE!

You’ve probably heard this colloquial Australian term before. It’s used when meeting someone for the very first time or reconnecting with our nearest and dearest. It's an immediate bond.

It also reflects my approach to helping my clients in their real estate journeys. We may start out as strangers, but we definitely finish up as firm friends.

Hi, I’m Tracey Gobey - a home enthusiast, avid traveler, and local Realtor here in the Denver Metro area. I live, work and play in the thriving Englewood neighborhood and with a long family history of real estate in Australia, I’m excited to be brokering under Thrive Real Estate!

I’m passionate about connecting people with community, whether buying or selling, relocating from overseas, across state lines or simply to a new neighborhood, ultimately I want to help you find that perfect place to set down roots and flourish.

I now happily call Colorado home, but like many of us, my story doesn’t start here. I was born and raised in Zimbabwe, where my roots run the deepest. In my early 20’s my family left Africa and migrated to Australia.

It was here that I bought my first property, met and married my husband James, and got busy with life. I've worked across Sports Management, PR & Marketing, Technology, Community Engagement, and Design - all of which I now bring to my work in real estate - teamwork, attention to detail and community building.

In 2015, we uprooted our lives in Australia and set out on a trip of a lifetime. With nothing more than a McNally Road Atlas to guide our way, we drove 19,000 miles in nine months across the US and Canada. It was pure magic!

We were lucky to find ourselves planted here in colorful Colorado and for the past few years, have been exploring and enjoying all this gorgeous state has to offer. In addition to soaking up the vibrant city life and discovering amazing camping spots, we are busy renovating our vintage trailer, a 1951 Spartan Royal Mansion lovingly named ‘Eve’.

So I know what it means to have to set down new roots. To leave a beloved home for something unknown. To build new community, find that perfect dog walking trail, to become a local at the coffee shop. To come Home.

I’d love to guide you on your property journey. To help you flourish where you’re planted.

It’ll be a great adventure. Let's do this!
